A Just Transition is a Human Right

  • Canadian Museum for Human Rights 85 Israel Asper Way Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0L5 Canada (map)

Join us come rain, snow, shine, or fog! The government of Canada, here on Turtle Island, has promised a transition from the domination of fossil-fuel power to clean energy and regeneration of nature—but it has yet to deliver. That’s why it is on us to make the government deliver. This is an issue of human rights; we all need to eat, learn, work, and play and we can do it in a green way! Come to The Forks and show what you want the federal government to lead in protecting and enhancing, whether it’s plants, transit, books, or anything else. All these and more will be crucial to the just transition into the better world of tomorrow—and it all starts at the centre of town. Bring signs, bring art, and bring enthusiasm for a livable future.
