Celebrating in Solidarity: A Fundraiser for Wet'suwet'en

On May 3rd at 4:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM MT / 7:00 PM ET, join us for a night of celebration and storytelling!

SCM will be hosting an evening with Indigenous artists, leaders, and storytellers to raise money and awareness about what is happening in so called British Columbia right now.

Our climate and our kin are under attack. On unceded Wet’suwet’en territory, TC Energy is pushing through the Coastal Gas Link pipeline that is threatening the Wedzin Kwa, a sacred river, and the rest of our environment.

During the fundraiser, there will be music performances and art showcases from Indigenous creatives. We will also listen to leader Sleydo’ (Molly Wickham) talk about what’s happening on Wet’suwet’en territory. And of course, if you’re able, there will be an opportunity to donate during a live auction fundraiser.

As settlers and allies, it’s our duty to show up and support the Wet’suwet’en People! It’ll be a fun night of performances and the opportunity for solidarity actions.
