Around the world, climate change is manifesting itself in extreme temperatures, heavier rainfall, increasing wildfires and drought. The heat dome in western Canada in June 2021 caused fatalities and also exposed vulnerabilities in infrastructure, the energy grid and building systems. What strategies will municipalities, businesses and infrastructure providers need to adopt in order to avert loss and damage? This webcast will bring climate, infrastructure and preparedness experts together to discuss how cities, towns and industries can become safer and more resilient in the face of a changing climate.

Key takeaways:

•Better understand the risks of climate change to our cities and towns

•Discover solutions and responses to extreme weather events
