Climate Change & the Protection of the International Order, Security & Human Welfare

Organizer: Seniors for Climate Action Now!

Climate change poses multiple, existential threats to the human race: floods from rising sea levels; droughts from shifting rain patterns; famines from crop failures.

Entire populations are already trying to escape the worst-affected areas, and they are colliding with neighbouring peoples as they flee.  States are mobilizing their militaries to protect their own resources, or to seize the resources of others.
