The Close The Gaps Loop and Link Rides highlights the need to close the 9 km of gaps in this 100km off-street multi-use path system that would connect all of Scarborough and the entire city.

The West Scarborough Rail Trail is the key 3 km missing link in the 25 km Scarborough Link that runs from Biidaasage Park at Lake Ontario to Rouge National Park via the Don Valley Trail, the Taylor Massey Creek Trail, the proposed West Scarborough Rail Trail and the Meadoway and only has 4 km of gaps.

The ride is a 21 loop and will end at the starting point.
