A series of recent decisions by our federal leaders threaten our public services, climate, and the future we all deserve. That's why I am hosting a teach-in to take some space to learn together and talk about how all these issues intersect with climate leading up to the big action that 350org is planning on September 20th. The struggles to fight against racism, ableism, sexism, anti-trans sentiment, colonialism, the war machine, misinformation, and corporations abusing their power, to name only a few, can all be linked to climate justice and each other in various ways. Let's find both common ground together and ways that we can support each other in fighting for what is important to us. The park grounds at Riverdale Park have shade from sunlight thanks to the trees, accessible public washrooms, and places nearby to buy snacks/refreshments, so come out and enjoy the day with us!
