About this event
Are you a BIPOC or newcomer youth living in the GTA? Are you interested in creating art, developing your talent and new skills? Connecting, sharing stories and culture with other BIPOC and newcomer youth in a safe space? Come learn and create with us at the BAM Collective Virtual Arts Workshops!
We are excited to announce the launch of our Healing and Connecting Through Culture, Art, and Storytelling Virtual Workshops. We invite Canadian BIPOC and newcomer youth to our safe space to create art, while sharing stories and narratives about lived personal and cultural experiences while healing through art together with the guidance of art facilitators and artists. Sessions on visual arts, beading, and creative writing will be facilitated. Art supplies will be provided and shipped to you for the relevant workshop (you are also welcome to bring your own supplies).
There is no cost to this event or the supplies, but spaces are limited. Please RVSP by using this form.
This is event is organized by a group of passionate young change-makers who are a part of the BAM Collective and the Leading Justice Fellowship program run by United Way Greater Toronto and U of T’s School of Cities.
