High School Student Volunteer Training

This workshop is designed for high school students looking to become climate activists. Come get a crash course on the role that the Big 5 Canadian Banks play in the climate crisis. Learn how to take action effectively and build a real protest with like-minded peers. Discover ways to plug into the climate finance movement afterwards. Sessions will include topics like: 

- Intro to climate finance: How the banks fund the climate crisis

- The role of youth leadership and youth activism

- The basics of action planning: Introduction to strategy and tactics

The session will conclude with the opportunity for participants to plan and hold a small action as a team.
