Earth School: A Climate Grief Mini-Retreat

There is a loneliness in carrying the grief of what is befalling our world.

We know that no future possibilites exist for unlimited growth in a finite planet.

Rather than feeling afraid of our pain for the world, we’ll come together and learn to feel strengthened by it.

This workshop offers a space to bring our grief out of isolation and into community.

Earth School: Honouring Our Pain, Loving Our World is a 90-minute climate grief mini-retreat rooted in Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects. Together, we’ll move through the spiral of:

  1. Grounding in gratitude

  2. Honouring our pain for the world

  3. Seeing with new eyes

  4. Going forth with courage

Through meditation, restorative yoga, and guided journaling, we will make space to sit fully with the emotional reality of living in uncertain times.
