Indigenous land defender Laura Vicuña Pereira Manso will speak about the struggle of the Karipuna people to defend their land in the Amazon.

The evening includes an exclusive Canadian screening of The Illusion of Abundance, a film about three brave women fighting land exploitation in Latin America.

Tickets are $35. All proceeds go to support the work of Canadian Jesuits International (CJI) with land defenders in Latin America.
