'The Our Climate, Our stories' creative writing contest is a space for Canadian BIPOC youth, (ages 14 - 29) to share their stories and narratives about their lived experiences, personal, cultural and communal response to climate change. In relation to the contest Climate Illustrated will host a workshop to help you:

1. Generate new ideas

2. Develop your story

Climate Illustrated collects people’s personal stories about climate change and social transformation. Together with the workshop participants our team will take apart a story to see what makes it inspirational and powerful.

Through creative exercises we’ll develop the different story parts to help you put together an amazing story that resonates with your experiences, values, emotions and hopes for the world. Our Climate, Our Stories is an initiative by the @peopleplanetbooks book club, in partnership with @climateillustrated, @bamcollectivee, @enviromuslimscanada and @peelclimatecouncil. The competition is funded by @risingyouthtig.
