Join Bill Nuttle, whose century-old brick home in the Glebe is now 100% electric, having converted all home energy systems away from fossil fuels.
Bill will share what he has learned by retrofitting his home over several years, with insulation, a heat pump, an induction stove, and a hybrid hot water heater. Recently he shut off his gas service entirely. Ongoing operating costs and changes to the household’s carbon footprint will be discussed. Adelle Farrelly, also from the Glebe, will also be on hand to speak from similar experience.
