TCTM and CCTO Presents: Talking Climate with Friends and Family

The overall focus of this workshop is about having meaningful climate conversations with the people we love the most!

About this event

Who: For TCTM participants (and quite frankly - anyone who wants to learn about having meaningful climate conversations!!)

When: February 23rd from 7:30-9:00 pm (EST)

What: The goal of this workshop is that we can start having climate conversations that don't end up killing the party vibes!

Course content will include:

1) Connect with other attendees, share and reflect on past difficult climate conversations;

2) Understand the different ‘conversation traps’ that can negatively affect our conversations;

3) Understand and analyze the different ‘levels in a conversation’ to breakdown why conversations were not productive;

4) Introduction to tips for successful climate conversations.

This workshop will provide opportunities to connect with other TCTM participants, reflect on experiences, and debrief in breakout groups and as a larger group!
