Green Thumbs Growing Kids

We are working to include climate change education in our garden-based learning programs for elementary students. Mainly this centres around healthy soil which sequesters carbon, local food which reduces "foodprints" and composting, which connects to both healthy soil and local food. It also includes planting trees from seed.

We are mainly involved in schoolground gardening, and also manage a rooftop garden at Daniels Spectrum, former home of CSI Regent! Our programs are for children, youth and families. We animate the summer season in school gardens through community engagement.
